From festivals, outdoor markets, concerts, and amusement park rides, here is a look at what to do in Toronto this long weekend. If you want to kick off the weekend with a concert, there’s one taking place on Friday night. You may know him from his hit song “Stay” with Justin Bieber, The Kid LAROI is coming to Toronto for his “A Perfect World Tour” on May 15 at 7:30 p.m. The concert’s lineup also features Tommy Richman, best known for his song “Million Dollar Baby,” and WizTheMC, who released the hit, “Show me love.” The Kid LAROI will be performing at the Coca-Cola Coliseum. If you want to grab your last minute seats, tickets start at $94. Address : 19 Nunavut Rd. From May 15 to 17, Toronto’s beloved Wine Fest is returning to Heritage Court. The festival will run Friday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. The festival will host more than 30 exhibitors serving up wine, and emerging drinks from around the world. There will also be free classes with wine professionals, along with three free pours included with your ticket, which can be purchased online starting at $31.82 each. Address : 19 Nunavut Rd. Toronto Halal Bites Festival Nathan Philips Square will be hosting the Toronto Halal Bites Festival bringing a diverse celebration of food, culture, and art. The free festivities are on May 15 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., May 16 from noon to 10 p.m., and May 17 from noon to 8 p.m. Besides chowing down on food, there will also be an art gallery, cultural performances, a live cooking show, live art installations, and interactive exhibits. Festivalgoers can expect to see live fusion performances from Farhana Ali, Ali Soulful, and Malik the Musafir. Address: 100 Queen St W. Asian Night Market With Asian Heritage Month in full swing, Stackt Market will be celebrating on May 16 at 4 p.m. with an evening that honours culture. The Asian Night Market is taking place, launching this year’s BACKYARD series, which will have four more different bashes from June to September. There will be more than 50 Asian-owned vendors ranging from art to candles, fashion, along with food and drinks representing regions across Asia. It doesn’t stop there. Prepare to enjoy interactive food experiences, live-fire cooking, cultural dance performances, live DJs, and mah-jong instruction in the clubhouse. Another highlight is the chance to watch the live taping of Jenny Chen’s podcast “Tune Up Your Warrior,” featuring a panel of leaders from the Asian community. Address : 28 Bathurst St. Electric Island This Toronto electronic music festival will be entering its 14th season this month. Electric Island’s season opener will transform Woodbine Park into a dance floor with music from Adriatique, Kevin De Vries, The Martinez Brothers, and many more artists. The festival will run on May 16 and 17 from 2:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. If you want to keep dancing, Electric Island will have an official after-party for both days at CODA. The doors will open at 10 p.m. and the last call is at 4 a.m. Tickets for the festival can be purchased online, starting at $150 for the weekend. Address : 1695 Queen St E., CODA: 794 Bathurst St. EastBloom Tea and Gourmet Festival 2026 If you’re downtown this weekend, head to Sankofa Square to check out the Toronto Tea & Gourmet Festival as it celebrates the city’s “global culinary culture and vibrant tea traditions.” Not only will visitors be able to check out some premium tea vendors, specialty food booths, artisanal treats, and handcrafted goods, there will also be live entertainment throughout the festival. It all takes place on Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17 from noon to 10 p.m. Address: 1 Dundas St. E. Street Eats Market Bring your appetite and your foodie friends. The Street Eats Market will be running on May 16 from noon to 8 p.m., and May 17 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Evergreen Brick Works. This free market will hold food and drink vendors, patios, and live entertainment at a historical site of the former Don Valley Brick Works and quarry. While indulging in the market, guests will also be able to admire the gateway to the Frances and Tim Price Terrace that shows the beautiful Don River Valley Park view. “From casual bites to sweet treats and sips in between, every visit will feel a little different, a little new, and a lot more fun,” according to the team. If you cannot make it this weekend, The Street Eats Market will be open all summer long, and into October. Address : 550 Bayview Ave. Festival of Flavours Hit Toronto’s waterfront for a high-energy outdoor festival. The brand new Festival of Flavours is taking over Sugar Beach on May 16 and 17 from noon to 10 p.m., and May 18 from noon to 8 p.m. This will be “a global food celebration bringing flavours from every corner of the world together in one place,” according to organizers. There will be more than 50 vendors, including these popular picks: Simply Filipino, Steak Barrels, Skewdat, Pica Pica Delights, and Shawafel Mediterranean Cuisine. The festival will also have free activities from games to face painting, and salsa dancing. Admission is free and there will be “$5 tasting features, with the VIP Taste Pass program.” Address : 11 Dockside Dr. Maplee Vendor Market You can shop local and support small businesses at the Maplee Vendor Market in The Distillery Historic District . Taking place at Gristmill Lane, this free, outdoor market will last the entire long weekend, May 16 to 18 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Spend the day discovering Canadian vendors that feature art, handmade goods, fashion, specialty food, and much more. Centreville Amusement Park This family favourite destination is open during the long weekend on May 16 to 18 from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Located on Toronto Islands, a scenic ferry ride to get to Centreville Amusement Park is part of the fun. There are more than 30 rides and attractions to check out, including the Far Enough Farm with free admission. Passes can be purchased online starting at $35.18 for an all-day ride pass. Address : 9 Queens Quay W. (ferry terminal) Canada’s Wonderland To ring in Victoria Day, Canada’s Wonderland will have a fireworks show on May 17. It will begin at 10 p.m. and last for 30 minutes. Be sure to check out those roller-coasters while you’re there. Address: 1 Canada’s Wonderland Dr., Vaughan Victoria Day Fireworks at Ashbridges Bay Park The City of Toronto is also offering fireworks on Victoria Day, and it will be at Ashbridges Bay Park.
