Cascading One of the key features of the Acute MSO3K/TS3K oscilloscope is its multi-unit stacking capability, allowing for the stacking of up to 16 devices, achieving a maximum measurement capability of 64 channels at 250MS/s or 16 channels at 1GS/s simultaneously. In terms of its chassis design, the MSO3K/TS3K is specifically designed for stacking applications, featuring carefully designed positioning grooves that allow the oscilloscope to be perfectly aligned when stacked. Additionally, the oscilloscope"s thermal performance has been thoroughly considered and includes dual-side heat vents to ensure there are no overheating issues during extended operation.
Report Production In the context of waveform analysis, Acute offers a variety of formats for its oscilloscope archiving functionality, including PDF, ODT, HTML, and other report formats. These reports encompass waveform snapshots along with relevant measurement parameters. Additionally, Acute supports multiple waveform data storage formats such as Matlab, TXT, CSV, MOW, and more. Beyond reporting and data storage, Acute provides a waveform image export feature, allowing users to conveniently save or share waveform images.
Multiple Decodes & Triggers Provides, CAN/CAN-FD, I²C, LIN, MIPI I3C 1.1, ProfiBus, SPI, UART(RS232), USB1.1,… protocol decode and trigger function, which is able to trigger and decode on the specified Command/Address/Data...
High Update Rate The Acute oscilloscope offers a fast waveform capture mode, allowing developers to leverage instrument hardware resources for quicker data acquisition. This aims to reduce the dead time between data captures. Additionally, the software provides an adjustable persistence time, allowing users to customize the retention time for afterglow.

Multiple Decodes & Triggers Under the configuration of hardware parameters (voltage levels, sampling rate, number of channels, etc.), Acute supports the decoding of multiple sets of signals in its Logic Analyzer (LA) functionality. In the reporting area, it arranges packets based on Timestamp, aiding developers in understanding the chronological order of packet transmission. In addition to decoding, Acute also provides protocol packet triggering capabilities for various protocols such as I2C, I3C, SPI, UART, NAND Flash, eMMC, etc. This allows for trigger settings based on the content of the packet, helping developers identify the expected packet content and reduce the impact of unnecessary packets on the overall decoding browsing speed.
Stack With Other Vendors of DSO When using the Logic Analyzer (LA) for decoding, developers may sometimes need to synchronize measurements of waveforms, voltage, and current with advanced oscilloscopes. In this regard, Acute provides the option to use the LA instrument as a trigger case. Through the Trig-out pin, it can be connected with various brands of oscilloscopes by using the MCX-to-BNC cable, including Acute, Agilent, GwInstek, HAMEG, Keysight, LeCroy, Rohde & Schwarz, and Tektronix. By leveraging the VISA control functionality of the respective brands, Acute allows the importation of analog waveforms from the oscilloscopes into the Acute LA software for synchronized display. This enables users to read and archive data conveniently within the same software suite.
Streaming Mode To meet the needs of developers conducting prolonged burn-in testing, Acute provides two additional modes for waveform storage in addition to saving the instrument"s memory. These modes include streaming to HDD/SSD and streaming to PCRAM. As long as the USB and hardware throughput are sufficient to handle the transmitted data volume, it is possible to save all digital waveforms.
Note In Acute"s LA software, there is a feature that allows developers to make notes and add images on waveforms. Developers can mark problematic waveform locations and use text to document encountered issues. Additionally, with the image upload feature, portions of specification documents or other images can be imported into the waveform positions. The imported text and images can be saved in Acute"s proprietary format, making it easier for collaborative development with other team members to facilitate discussions and data transfer.
