From late August 2026, you'll notice a new look when you log on to NetBank, as the new experience is progressively rolled out to customers over the coming months.

Familiar where it matters most
Access NetBank the same way — type commbank.com.au or netbank.com.au directly into your browser
Log on using your existing client number and password. If you use a password manager, you may need to manually enter your details the first time you log on
Your accounts, balances, and saved details, such as recurring payments or saved payees, won’t be affected
Any security steps you currently use to log on and make transactions will stay the same

What is the new NetBank?
The new NetBank is an updated version of our online banking with a simpler design and navigation and overall, a more streamlined experience for everyday banking.
Why are you making changes to NetBank?
We’re modernising NetBank to make it simpler to use, improve performance and help you complete everyday banking tasks more easily.
What’s changed in the new NetBank?
You'll notice a new logon page, simpler navigation menus and a clearer layout that helps you complete everyday banking tasks with ease.
What hasn’t changed?
You’ll still log on the same way, with your existing client number and password. Your accounts and saved information stay the same, and you can continue doing your everyday banking as usual.
Will I see the new NetBank straight away?
We’re rolling out the new NetBank in stages from late August, so you may see it now or a little later. Until then, you can continue using your current NetBank as usual.
Is the new NetBank secure?
Yes. Protecting your banking remains a priority, and the new NetBank includes the security measures you expect from CommBank.
Are all features available in the new NetBank?
The new NetBank has been designed to make everyday banking simpler. While most everyday banking features are available, some features have changed as part of the update.
Some features are available another way, such as in the CommBank app or by contacting us or visiting a branch. Other features are no longer available.

Will it work differently?
Some tasks may look a little different or follow slightly different steps, but they're designed to be simpler and easier to complete.
What should I do if I need help?
You can take the tour when you first log on, access Help from the sidebar menu, or browse our online how-to guide. If you need more support, we're here to help — you can contact us or visit your nearest branch.
Do I need to do anything?
No action is required. You can keep using NetBank as usual, just log on as you normally would.
Will I still be able to use the CommBank app?
Yes. The CommBank app isn't changing, and you can continue using it as you do today.
Using the new NetBank
Why isn’t my password manager working with NetBank?
If you use a password manager to save your NetBank logon details, it may not recognise the new logon page the first time you visit. After your first successful logon, you may need to update or re-save your credentials. Remember, your client number and password haven't changed.
Need to find your client number? You can:
Get it from your Profile in the CommBank app or
On the NetBank logon page, select Get help logging on > Find your client number
How can I download a statement?
From the NetBank Home page, select the account for which you want to view or download statements
From the Account details page, select Download latest statement to download your most recent statement, or View all statements to find a specific one
Select the financial year
Choose the statements you want to download: - Click Select all to download all statements for that financial year, or - Tick the box next to specific statements

How do I make a payment or transfer?
From the NetBank Home page, select Payments
Choose the type of payment or transfer you want to make
Follow the prompts to complete your payment or transfer.
How can I manage my business authorities?
You can add, remove or update business authorities in two ways:
Option 1: From an account
Select the business account you want to manage
Under Manage account , select Manage account authorities
Follow the prompts to add or remove business account authorities
Option 2: From your profile
Select your name in the top-right corner of the screen
Select View business details
Choose the business profile you want to manage
Select Account access & data sharing
Follow the prompts to add or remove business account authorities
