Don’t show all of the Excel functions that I had on my previous MacBook Pro. How can I get the same robust Excel, Word, etc. programs on my iPad Pro that I had on my Pro? Thank you. Bob S.

I understand that after you installed Office on your iPad Pro, the functionality in Excel is not as comprehensive as it was in your previous MacBook Pro.
I'll try to explain why Office on different platforms has different interfaces and features.
Office for Mac is designed for Mac computers and is fully functional for in-depth office use. It includes applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint with advanced features similar to the Windows version, such as macros, advanced formatting options, and detailed editing tools.
Office for iOS , on the other hand, is designed for iPhone and iPad with simplified features for mobile office and light editing. While apps such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are also available, they have relatively simplified features and are better suited for quickly viewing, editing, and sharing documents in a mobile environment. Some advanced features may be unavailable or limited. So you won't be able to use some features in Office for iOS that previously worked on a Mac, as a result of the original design of the two, which unfortunately can't be changed.
For more advanced editing, if you find that you can't do it on your iPad, you may consider going back to your Mac.
I hope you find the above information useful and thank you for your understanding and support.
