Our payment cycle occurs in the first week of each month through a link on your App. You will receive a message on the app with your earnings data and the link. You may withdraw your profits by clicking the link and entering the necessary information. Note: You will be eligible for a withdrawal if your earnings exceed INR 100 and you have been active for at least 7 days in a month. It takes 5-6 business days from the date of the invoice to transfer the money. 2. What is the compensation offered to Filo Tutors? The remuneration is as follows: For 11th &12th standard (Physics, Chemistry, Biology & Mathematics): Rs. 140/hr For 9th & 10th (All topics/subjects): Rs. 110/hr For government job exams (All topics): Rs. 110/hr Important: The per-hour call compensation is determined by the number of minutes sessions are conducted. For a single session, the billing goes up linearly, and then logarithmically. So, to maximize your earnings, you may avoid taking sessions for more than 15 minutes long. We would incentivise taking multiple and shorter sessions. For example, You will earn more if you connect with four different students for 15-minute sessions each in an hour, instead of taking one session of 60-minute duration. 3. Do I have to spend a fixed number of hours on the Filo Tutors App? We take care of the entire Filo tutor family by ensuring no tutor feels exhausted or overloaded at any point while teaching. That is why we’ve given complete liberty to each tutor to take sessions as per their schedule and preference. The decision for when to teach and for how long to teach entirely depends on their will. Moreover, we understand that a tutor may or may not be able to take sessions on a daily basis due to other commitments. 4. What should be my qualifications to teach on the Filo Tutor app? We do not have such strict qualification conditions on Filo, as long as your teaching skills are impressive. At the very least we expect you to be a college student with sufficient knowledge of the topic and be able to assist the students using engaging teaching techniques. 5. I tried becoming a Filo tutor but my videos are getting rejected. Which things I should be more careful about? A tutor must really complete two segments in the Video phase. The first is an introductory video, while the second is a solution video. You must offer a quick introduction about yourself in the introductory video. Following the introduction, a question from your chosen topic will be shown on your screen. With your rear camera also open, you must solve that question on a notebook while facing the camera and making sure your camera is stable while filming that video, and you must also explain while solving the question. You can also refer to a sample video, which appears at the beginning of that step. 10. Is it safe to share Aadhar and PAN details on the app? Respecting the privacy of an individual is our core policy. We make sure your privacy is intact and your personal information stays just with the organization and will not be shared with anyone at any point in the future. . 11. What would the Filo team ask the tutors in the Tutor Orientation Program? We conduct these online orientation programs to maintain the effectiveness of the tutors in their respective sessions and to improve new instructor quality on the platform.
