It has its problems, but your item will get a lot of exposure there. My TV is broken! Have another look at the end of the auction, as a rule most of the bidding happens at the end. I think you should log on to your ebay account just to see what the damage is. If you got a negative, that's not going to look very good as a seller, but if you didn't, there's nothing to stop you using the account again. Worst case scenario, your account might have been shut down, but I think you'd have heard about it if that had happened My TV is broken! You could try getting a price and then if you can sort out your ebay account as fay suggests, putting it on with that as the start price and seeing if you can do better! 0 jasmineswhiskers Posts: 2,052 Forumite 2 June 2007 at 6:22PM As a rule if you sell to a jeweller they will give you a quarter of the price they will re-sell it for. I received £2000 for 2 diamond rings which then went in the shop window for £8000. I had an auction valuation at Bonhams but this was similar before commision / auction fees are taken off. That's life I guess! 0 aycor Posts: 277 Forumite 6 January 2009 at 11:58PM spam??? !!!!! 0 chja Posts: 913 Forumite 7 January 2009 at 9:08AM Auction might be best bet - try: Bonhams The Red House, Hyde St, Winchester, Hampshire SO23 7DX Tel: 01962 862515 Classification: Auctioneers & Valuers others available here : 0 Confirm your email address to Create Threads and Reply
