She gained experience at some of the leading media outlets in the Philippines, including GMA Network and Solar News Channel (then changed into CNN Philippines), and also worked with Manila Bulletin Sports Digest. Later, she moved into magazines at One Mega Group, where she handled different titles and shows as PR, which led her to establish her own marketing consulting company called AO.
