You begin as the Prince of Midenhall. Don't forget to equip your sword from the chest nearby! You must find your cousins to aid you in your quest to save the world, first you need to find the Prince of Cannock. From Midenhall castle head north and west to the town of Leftwyne. Take some time to level up and heal if you need to, then travel north to Cannock Castle. Talk to the king at Cannock Castle, he will tell you that his son has just left to go to the Wellspring of the Hero. Head east and north until you find the opening that leads into the cave. Make your way thru the cave and talk to the old man near the spring, he will tell you that the prince has headed to Midenhall Castle, so head back there. The king says that he went to back to his hometown. So now head to Leftwyne and check at the Inn, there you will find the prince and he will join your party. Next you need to go west into the Lake Cave and get the Silver Key. The key can be found on the second basement floor of the cave. After getting the key, you can prepare to head south to Moonahan. Take the Monolith to the south island and travel south to Moonahan. In town, there will be a dog on the north side of town, talk to the dog and notice that it follows you around. From here travel west to Moonbrooke Castle and see the ruins of what is left of the castle. Talk to everyone there, including the flames. You will learn of the Ra's Mirror and its power to restore the princess (who is the dog that followed you) to her true form. Travel south around the small lake and then follow the river east you will find the swamp patch by the 4 bridges. Search the swamp patch and you'll find Ra's Mirror. Return with the mirror and use it in front of the dog that follows you, and you will have the Princess of Moonbrooke join your party. If you travel west and then north you will see two towers (the Dragon'sHorn) one on each side of the channel, and there is no way to get across. Travel to the Tower of Wind, to get to it you will need to go east from Moonahan and then north across the second bridge and back south along the coast. Before you travel to the tower it helps if the Princess knows Holy Protection and the Prince knows Zoom and Evac. Find the Windbreaker in the tower. Now with the Windbreaker equipped (use it as an item, not thru the equip menu) head back to the Dragon's Horn and climb to the top floor and walk off the north side. You will float across the channel to the other side. Once on the other side travel northeast to reach the port town of Rippleport. On the west side of town you can get yourself a Puff Puff. In the northwest corner of town a woman is being attacked my monsters. Defeat the monsters and her grandfather will give you his ship to use. From Rippleport take the ship and sail east and to the land of Alefgard, head east after landing to find Tantegel Castle. Here you will learn about the Sunken Treasure and the Celestial Skein. Head back to your ship and sail north from the tile east of Rippleport to find the sunken treasure. Then head back to Rippleport and give the treasure to the merchant in the waterway. You will receive the Echo Flute for your troubles, when you use the Echo Flute it will echo back if a sigil is nearby. Now sail south from Rippleport to the Dragon's Horn towers and enter the north tower. Go to the 2nd floor and you will see a sparkling point, search there for the Celestial Skein. Sail west thru the Dragon's Horn channel and then south around the main continent and east until you see a shrine .When you talk to the priest there he will say you need proof of lineage to get Erdrick's Helmet. Take the teleportal in the back of the room. When you arrive in the next location you will see a sparkling spot, search there for the Sun Sigil. You can check out the other teleportals, but you are limited by doors you cannot open in most of them. Leave and continue north and west to find Charlock castle. Make your way thru the basement to find Erdrick's Sword. If you continue thru the basement floors you will find the Great, Great Grandson of Dragonlord, he will tell you of the 5 Sigils that will give you protection from Rubiss and tells you to go to the island south of where Cantlin once stood. Head south of Charlock Castle to the island with the tower on it. Make your way thru the tower to find an old man who will lead you to a chest. When you open the chest you will be attacked by 4 Gremlins. When you defeat them you will receive the Star Sigil. Sail south from the Dragon's Horn along the west edge of the continent and sail into the first river you come across, land your ship at where the river starts and walk to the town nearby, this is Slewse. Here you will learn of Roge Fastfinger who has stolen the key to their sluice. From here sail west to the large island and you will find the town of Beran. Here you can buy the Power Shield for 21,500 Gold and when used as an item will heal a party member. You will also learn that the King of Dirkandor has the Moon Sigil. If you stay in the Inn in Beran the Prince of Cannock will be struck with illness and be bedridden. Go to the southern tip of the island Beran is on and sail west and stop at Zahan. Here you will learn of a cave surrounded by coral and that the Moonshard will allow you to enter. When you talk to the dog in the northeast corner of town it will run and point to a glowing spot. Search there to find the Gold Key. Leave and sail a bit north and west until you see an island with a singletree on it, land there and search the tree for a Yggdrasil leaf. Head back to Beran and use the Yggdrasil leaf on the Prince of Cannock to break the curse. Now you can stay at the Inn without any issues. Sail west from Beran and a bit north to find the island that holds Dirkandor castle. When you speak to the King he will ask you to entertain him, when you say yes you will have to battle a Striking Sabercat. After defeating the Striking Sabrecat the King of Dirkandor will give you the Moon Sigil. Zoom back to Midenhall Castle and grab the Mark of Erdrick from the treasure room behind the gold door. Then to Cannock Castle to get Erdrick's shield behind that gold door. Now to Tantegel castle and to the second floor of the armour shop to find the King of Tantegel castle and he will give you the Soul Sigil. Head to the shrine in the southeast tip of Alefgard to get Erdrick's Helmet now that you have the Mark of Erdrick. From Zahan head west and a bit north to find the town of Burrowell. In the shop on the west side of town there is an item for sale ???, buy it and that will get you the Jailor's Key. Go to the jail in the northeast corner of town. You will learn you need a false idol to gain access to Rendarak from the old man in the west cell, then enter the east cell and walk thru the wall next to the table to find Roge Fastfinger. He will give you the Floodgate Key for Slewse. Zoom back to Midenhall castle and go down to the dungeon and in the south cell you can talk to the old man there, he will attack you as a Wrecktor. When you defeat him you will get the Lightning Staff. Now back to Moonahan and open the gold door go down and then the jail door, you will have to fight two Grimlin's. After you defeat them search the corner of the cell to find the Water Sigil. When you have learned Safe Passage head back to Zahan and get the Subtle Shuttle from behind the west door beyond the damage tiles (the other door has a prayer ring). Zoom to Slewse and go downstairs in the house in the middle of town behind the gold door. Talk to Don Calico and since you have the Celestial Skein and the Subtle Shuttle he will make a garment for you, but you will have to come back for it later. You should be able to zoom to another town, save and reload and come back to get it. Then go to the north end of town and open the jail door and go down and use the key to open the Floodgate. This will flood the dry riverbed so you can access the Tower of Moon south of Slewse. Navigate the tower to find the Moonshard. Armed with the Moonshard sail to the cave that is to the south and west of Dirkandor and use the Moonshard. The tide will rise and the shallow water around the cave will be replaced by deep water so you can sail to the entrance to the Sea Cave. Make your way thru the cave and find the False Idol. You will have to defeat 2 Whackolytes to get to it. Save enough MP to cast Evac so you don't have to trek back thru the cave. Now that we have all of the Sigils we need to go find Rubiss. Sail due south from Midenhall and you should see an island with only a monolith on it. Go to the bottom floor and stand on the white square in the room (make sure you have space in your inventory). Rubiss will speak to you and give you the Eye of Rubiss. Now head back to Beran, there is a building on the north side of town with the house of healing in it, enter that building and use the Jailor's key in the center of the north wall to open the door, cast Safe Passage and walk into the teleportal. When you arrive at the other end of the Teleportal walk south thru the wall. Walk west to the poison swamp and use the False Idol to open the cave. Make your way thru the Cave to Rendarak, along the way you can find Erdrick's Armour. For the Thunderbolt Blade you will have to fall thru the largest floor at this spot to find the blade. Head northeast from the exit of the cave and go into the shrine. The priest there will heal your party, revive anyone who has died and be able to save your game. This is a great place to level up if you need you with the free heals and revivals at the priest. When you are ready head north along the mountains, then west and follow the mountains around to the south. Turn north when you reach the hills to find the castle. When you first enter the castle it looks like Midenhall Castle, use the Eye of Rubiss to break the illusion. Now go behind the throne and to the left in the barrier area until you seethe exclamation point, open that door and then go to the middle and open the door there. In the next area stand in the middle of the cross and use the False Idol. This will take you to the second floor. When you reach the fourth floor you will encounter Atlas just before you reach the stairs. On the fifth floor you will encounter Pazuzu before the stairs. Then on the sixth floor you will have to fight Belial just before the stairs. Then to the last floor to encounter Hargon. Hargon is actually pretty easy, but when you beat him you discover there is a hidden power behind him. Try to leave and the next battle will begin. Malroth is your final battle. After the long battle with Malroth you can walk around the world without any monster attacks and talk to all of the people. Then head to Midenhall Castle and talk to the King, and watch the credits. Here you will learn about the Sunken Treasure and the Celestial Skein. Head back to your ship and sail north from the tile east of Rippleport to find the sunken treasure.
