Pizza Hut becomes a division of the global conglomerate and the new head-office is built in Wichita. 1980 - Pizza Hut founds “Pan Pizza”. 1983 - Pizza Hut opens “Personal Pan Pizza”.

1984 – Steven Reinemund is appointed chief executive officer and president of the company. 1986 – The 5,000 franchise restaurant is opened in Dallas, Texas. 1988 – The chain introduces “Hand-Tossed Traditional Pizza”. 1990 – The 1st Pizza Hut location accepts clients in Moscow. 1991 - Pizza Hut has restaurants in eighty countries of the world. 1992 - Pizza Hut funds the national program “Book It!”, involving over seventeen million American students. 1994 – The company suffers the first decline in profits in fifteen years. 1999 - Pizza Hut owns more than 400 restaurants. 2004 – 500 Pizza Hut locations work in the United Kingdom. 2004 - Pizza Hut offers The Big New Yorker. 2005 – The 4forAll is launched. 2006 – Yum!
