Dragon Quest VII 3DS and VIII 3DS Perfect Save Files by Ignasia7
Here are the pages housing the downloads and descriptions. https://www.woodus.com/den/games/dq73ds/save-files-ignasia7.php https://www.woodus.com/den/games/dq83ds/save-files-ignasia7.php , DQ VII Save Information from the page. First let me say this is a US save file, so anything potentially needed to alter data for Japan or the EU version of the games, I have no idea if this is necessary, but Japan probably does require some tweaking as I'm not sure if the same data sets appear in the same recording files relative to save information. Secondly, each save "group" is from a different cartridge. I incorporated a notepad explanation about each one uniquely, but I'll give a general rundown to simplify which version you'll want to pick. I have 3 carts, and I wanted to make 3 SK's on each one, and at one point decided to create different variations to make each somewhat unique in customization. I also included "curated" versions where the Hero's name is changed from my name choices to Auster for 3 of them, and Arus for one. I also changed the time in the curated versions to match general time stamps for being at that point in the game for the average player; for one it's after completing L'Arca as this was my first formal Super Kiefer save and I thought I needed the Big Book of Beasts to check what I had encountered until realizing that was pointless and I cut a bit far into the timeline. This is my variation on having ALL DLC at the earliest point possible between multiple saves of the type I called Super Kiefer. Similar to what Gronya created, only less of a focus on map preservation and more of a focus on assuring the following: All DLC monsters are recruited Other characters are at level 1 All maps are either completed and their DLC obtained (with 1 exception for my first SK save), in one case mostly completed with the rest of the maps incomplete in the map inventory (so once defeated ALL of them are complete) All of them contain the 4 maps with unique bosses that cannot be tamed and only refought through these maps All of them have nearly all normal game monsters recruited, to simplify getting a complete monster park early on. The monsters unrecruited are distinct between saves, but are mostly early and early-mid game monsters, all late and post game are recruited for each. All of them have monster hearts, including enough to assure every character can start with the base monster classes from the outset (1 of them has a Walking Corpse Heart, which is available in the downloaded DLC) Two of them have 70 Bumper Bonus Balls, and two have 50; these double EXP, Gold, and Job Point growth for 30 minutes. The idea is to further cut down gaming experience to get through monster classes to preferred final versions, or classes in general, to get X/Y/Z skills or spells, and then explore the game to reduce grinding. All of them have Duplic hats, with one having 1, the rest having 2. All of them also have Hela's Hefty Hammers and Hermes Hats (for zoom). All of the SK saves have a Metal grinding map for character levels, and a low-EXP map for class grinding (that aren't slimes...as 3 monsters with 4 EXP is less than 7 or 8 with 2 EXP each). The three saves that do not contain extra DLC maps that are yet to be completed, instead contain specialized Haven maps where I exploited a bug in trading maps that can allow level 99 maps (so the item table for those with items, meaning you can get seeds, like Seed of Life from Slimetree Forest), level 99 enemies (so Slimes have around 18 HP), and level 99 bosses relative to the map creation system versions as they both pull from the same data points (so Slimetree Forest as it has a Slime for a boss, its item table for the 3 chests and 1 barrel pull from the same item table as making a Slime as the leader of your own map). Two contain many additional equipment options, and two contain a few as it takes time to farm, and I did most of my farming in between work over a LONG period (it's also why the time stamps for 2 of them are 900+ and 400+). With the exception of one Blue Button in the original SK, all of the keepsake items that you can keep or give away, like Fish Bits, the Spectacles, Little Blue Button, and the Wooden Doll. I'm a monster like that and I prefer hoarding things. I left more detail for each, but I'll give a general ghist of each. Cart 1 folder has 2 SK saves. 1. Save slot 3. The original true Super Kiefer (second attempt really, the first I needed to keep the MC alive to break past to level 50, so I deleted that and restarted). This has by far the most equipment Second largest number of 2nd and 3rd tier hearts. 50 Bumper Bonus Balls Is the only one that's furthest ahead: L'Arca is completed, so the curated version is set to 7 hours. Is the only one where I traded the Blue Button for a Mini Medal, and the only one that will forever have 1 Slime Crown. Level 99 Haven maps as a bit of intrigue, for me anyway, as it's not something the game is supposed to allow, except for a bug. No, it will not corrupt a save, as I've had several of these maps continuously since 2016 and no issues. 2. Save slot 2. The final Super Kiefer. This one is similar to Gronya's (and other preservation) saves, in that it keeps a larger number of DLC maps than just the 4 with unique and untamable bosses. HOWEVER, unlike hers, between the uncompleted maps and the maps I completed prior to finalizing what not to finish off, a player will have ALL DLC equipment, and already have all DLC monsters recruited and almost all normal monsters recruited. Not as generous with Monster Hearts, but at least the base tiers are fully covered, with a few extras, but this offers a decent bonus, and with 70 Bumper Bonus Balls, this will be friendly to people who want to blow open the game. The only game with the curated version giving the Hero the name Arus. The MAIN purpose of this version is to give players some of the harder DLC maps to complete, and a few extra, also to replay if desired, but with a Kiefer that isn't level 99 yet, and for some of those fights, that could be a slight challenge, especially with his Strength stat being low so a few fights might prove challenging due to his limitations. At least one or two of the DLC maps on the list were already completed, but the notepad references which ones. Plus I wanted to give people a sense of what it is like to play as Super Kiefer and the experience of what it's like, both as a weaker version and offering the ability to speed level up to 99 (seriously, like 1 hour or less with the given leveling map). Has the Little Blue Button, Wooden Doll, Fish Bits, and Spectacles for those who like hoarding stuff...yes, I'm a dirty hoarder like that. Unfortunately in this version, the Wooden Doll, Fish Bits, and Spectacles are forever keepsakes now, for those who wanted to give them to the NPC's that are supposed to take them. The Little Blue Button is open for trading for a mini medal for quite some time (the others traded for nothing in this version). Cart 2 folder has 1 SK save. 1. This is the second true SK, with 500 hours roughly. Decent additional equipment selection, the second most robust The largest count of 3rd tier monster class hearts, and 50 Bumper Bonus Balls for faster leveling...really you need about 30, but why not make it 50. Seriously though, that alone took awhile to get for one, let alone 4 saves. Has the Little Blue Button, Wooden Doll, Fish Bits, and Spectacles. Cart 3 folder has 1 SK save. 1. This is my third and was initially intended to be my perfected save with the lowest general hour count of under 100 with a few extra equipment pieces, decent monster heart count, and a decent Bumper Bonus Ball count, but I extended how much stuff was on it, and decided to make it my specialized one. This has enough Geryon Hearts to assure right off the bat, everyone has Wolf Whistle, for a Wolf Whistle challenge, as that skill was nerfed heavily, but makes for an interesting gameplay experience as damage is based on level. There's actually a decent amount of extra equipment. I decided, given how utterly broken and borked the game is with 2 Duplic hats on all the other saves, to only give this one 1. Plus it took weeks to farm just one. Just one is enough to break the beginning of the game, especially as the monster that drops it is recruited, and thus can be farmed for another 2 about 70% into the main game, when the monster park opens and all recruited monsters can be given to the park owner. I also set this save up for easy Puff! and I believe Megamorphosis tactics, for those who want a different replay experience from the outset of classes: non-controllable characters with fixed damage attacks. Makes for an interesting playthrough, and yes I have actually done this and a Wolf Whistle playthrough for shits and giggles. 70 Bumper Bonus balls, and for those wondering why I gave 20 more to the two versions with the least equipment, it's to incentivize and prioritize those two SK saves. If I ever do an ultimate SK version, and refine them further, I will probably take this and add as much as I can to it for an ultimate version, but that seems excessive. Ultimately I would say this and #4 are probably the two SK versions I prefer, but I have 3 carts, and I spent years on two of them, adding to them over time, and why not release them all instead of this one, which I favoured the most, and #4, which gives the option of experiencing a fair number of DLC maps and gives a sense of the Super Kiefer experience while having a complete set of everything. Like with others, this has the Little Blue Button, Spectacles, Fish Bits, and Wooden Doll. I hope people find these useful. Thank you. -Ignasia7 DQ VIII Save Information from the page. Hi all, while there's a notepad description of the nature of this save and it's purpose, a shorthand is this: First off, this is a US save, so I'm not sure if anything has to be altered for it to work with EU or JP copies. Back when DQ8 3DS was first released, a few people figured out in the first week anything downloaded from the DLC server would transfer to every save (including the quicksave). I kept close tabs as I awaited my copy to finally arrive. Sadly it arrived literally the final day of the first DLC equipment release: Candy Cane. At the time it wasn't known if it would save a DLC item to a save at the VERY VERY start, with just naming it but never loading it up or saving after the fact, so it starts in the field with the opening dialogue introducing Trode. So my save begins at the first opportunity to save in Farebury. Over the course of DLC releases and server shutdown shenanigans, myself and others worked out you could exploit the randomized daily item rewards to get desired items; it could take quite a long time. So I did my best in between every DLC equipment release. As the game only allowed 1 copy per save and/or saves per release...so let's say I had quicksave and 1 normal slot filled and grabbed said DLC, if I made a new save I would need to log-in on the new save and check for the DLC item, grab it for the new save, but it would check if the other two saves already had it, and if so, would disallow another copy, so all saves have 1 copy only. I ended up exploiting this system to get as many seeds as I could (along with Gold Bars). I wish I had figured it out in the second week, or there'd probably be closer to 100 Seeds of Strength, but I attempted to make a legitimate save with a comfortable perfect start with a fair number of seeds and extras, and ALL of the DLC equipment and items released in the US. I also attempted to exploit a decent number of Bubble Gum for double experience over 10 battles. So this also has the special freebie that was released in the NA and EU regions: Gospel Ring. So have fun with a boss-rush only version of this game, and both Erdrick Swords; Japan sadly was forced to have ONE sword they had to sacrifice in alchemy, no longer keeping the original...in this one you can keep both, or have two of the stronger alchemized versions. Enjoy for those who want to use this save and prefer legitimate versions. -Ignasia7

Is the only one that's furthest ahead: L'Arca is completed, so the curated version is set to 7 hours.

The largest count of 3rd tier monster class hearts, and 50 Bumper Bonus Balls for faster leveling...really you need about 30, but why not make it 50. Seriously though, that alone took awhile to get for one, let alone 4 saves.

DQ VIII Save Information from the page.
Hi all, while there's a notepad description of the nature of this save and it's purpose, a shorthand is this:
First off, this is a US save, so I'm not sure if anything has to be altered for it to work with EU or JP copies.
