I need some help with an issue I have on my Windows 11 pc. Sometimes, maybe once to thrice a day, my pc will do this thing where I hear the device plug-in sound, the pc starts to hang for a second, recover, play the plug-in sound and hang for another second before continuing on. This generally doesn't happen unless I'm playing a game. I've checked the logs, and nothing specific gets logged when this happens, except this security event. I'm sure this event is related as it pops up exactly when the stutter happens but I have no idea what the issue could be. I found some information regarding mice being the problem. I have updated my mouse driver and disabled an unused/unknown HID mouse in my device manager, but alas. I've checked the system files (SFC, DISM etc), updated the graphics driver, updated the BIOS, made sure Windows is up to date, plugged the mouse into another port, etc. I read that it could be an IRQ conflict, but as far as I've seen, there are no conflicts. Good to know that the event has nothing to do with the IRQ channels. I do think it's very strange coincidence that the event pops up exactly at the moment the hangs occur, however. But perhaps it's a result of whatever happens when the hang fixes itself. How do I share with onedrive? Or can I use something else?
