Help more buyers find the right part with Fitment Plus Auto
If you sell automotive Parts & Accessories, accurate vehicle compatibility information can help buyers find relevant listings and purchase with greater confidence. However, researching and maintaining fitment data across your inventory can take significant time and effort.Fitment Plus Auto (FPA) is designed to make that process easier. It automatically adds or updates compatible vehicle information on eligible listings, helping improve listing visibility while reducing the need to manage fitment data manually. What is Fitment Plus Auto?Fitment Plus Auto is an eBay feature that uses catalogue and marketplace data to enhance vehicle compatibility information on eligible Parts & Accessories listings. When your listing includes the correct brand and manufacturer part number (MPN), FPA can match the part with compatible vehicles and add the relevant fitment information to your listing. This supports eBay’s broader goal of improving the quality and coverage of compatibility data across the marketplace. How does it work?Starting 15 September, eligible sellers in fitment-enabled Parts & Accessories categories will be automatically enrolled in Fitment Plus Auto.FPA regularly reviews eligible listings and will:Add compatible vehicle information when a listing does not include any fitment data.Complete and update compatibility information when a listing includes some fitment data but is missing details.Continuously refresh fitment information as new or more accurate data becomes available in FPA.You do not need to create a new listing or manually apply the additional fitment information. What are the benefits?Reach more relevant buyersVehicle compatibility information helps your listings appear when buyers search for parts that fit their vehicle. More complete fitment coverage can help improve your listings’ visibility and sales potential.Help buyers purchase with confidenceClear compatible vehicle information makes it easier for buyers to understand whether a part is right for their vehicle, reducing uncertainty during the purchase journey.Spend less time managing fitmentFPA automatically adds and maintains fitment data, reducing the time and effort required to research and update compatibility information across your listings. What do I need to do?To give your eligible listings the best opportunity to receive fitment enhancements, make sure they include:• The correct product brand• The manufacturer part number, also known as the MPNThese details allow FPA to identify the part and match it with the appropriate compatible vehicles. Without an accurate brand and MPN, FPA may not be able to enhance the listing.Managing your Fitment Plus Auto settings (opting out or opting back in)Eligible sellers will be enrolled automatically, so you do not need to take any action to start benefiting from FPA.You can manage your participation through your Motors Selling Preferences. If you opt out, fitment information previously added by FPA will be removed from your listings. You can opt back in later to make eligible listings available for enhancement again. To learn more about how Fitment Plus Auto works and manage your settings, visit the Fitment Plus Auto Seller Centre page.Thank you for selling on eBay.

Discussion My eBay Sales are down by 64% so far this year Has anyone else noticed sales on eBay are well down. I can't even give items away! I either get ridicules low offers for BIN or Item Not Sold in my auctions. Beginning to despair, costs almost exceed revenues after fees, postage and packaging etc.. I used to have many, many oversea buyers - all gone now. Is it just me or across the board? 4 months ago last reply 1 hour ago

Discussion Experiences and Insights on Untracked Dispatches Hi, To be honest, as a disabled user of eBay, I am getting tired of items being 'Dispatched Untracked'. This is never declared on the original listing. If it did, I would move on to a seller offering a trackable service. I need to manage the delivery so that I can retrieve my item safely. I have mobility issues, so I like to instruct courier's to leave on a trunk inside my back gate. Instead, all they do is either - ram it through the letter box/ leave at front door and not knock and wait/ fob it off on a random neighbour. If it is left at the front door, it is highly likely that it will be stolen as my door is visible from the public footpath. With all the variety of deliveries on offer, delivering a fairly bulky parcel via 'Untracked Delivery' should be removed. yesterday at 6:13 PM last reply 1 hour ago

Discussion Can't buy an item because I don't have a credit card to prove my age I just tried to buy a set of hole saws (I bought a similar set on eBay last year without a problem) and was asked to verify my age with a payment card. I entered my debit card details not realising that it had to be a credit card. The details were rejected and I got a message saying that if I didn't have a credit card, I should contact customer services. I phoned customer services who just repeated that I need a credit card. Firstly, why advise me to phone customer services if they aren't going to be any help? Secondly, when I phoned customer services, the first thing the guy said to me after I gave my name was, 'I can see you have been an eBay member for 25 years, thank you for your loyalty' - so a) they know I must be over 18 and b) when I challenged the guy, he acknowledged that he knew my age (considerably older than 18!) but said that I still need a credit card. He then advised me to shop on another platform. Call me old fashioned or summink, but having been a bit stupid in my 20s (forty odd years ago), I have deliberately opted not to have a credit card to avoid getting in trouble again, why should I have to have one when it should be obvious that I'm over 18. I bought a lethal looking bread knife of Amazon last year and only needed my postman (who I know very well) to confirm my age. Similarly, Twitter/X recently asked me to verify my age and then without my intervention deduced that due to the time I had had an account, I must be over 18. Seriously, are we turning into a nation of babies? 4 months ago last reply yesterday at 10:48 PM

Discussion Where have my 'Unsold & Not Relisted' items gone? I ended 110 items earlier today in order to relist them & 'refresh' the listings, as I've been doing for years. Usually, these would appear straight away (or within a few minutes) in my Inactive Items. But they appear to have just vanished completely. Another ebay glitch? What's going on? Where are they? Help! Discussion International Buyer Able To Bid Despite Country Being Excluded In My Policy business policies A Czech bidder has won an auction even though I have excluded Czech Republic in the listing. Item number 318826361987 The listing has GSP applied to it. I can’t post to Czech Republic as I am not posting to the EU due to their regulations. Does anyone have any idea how they have managed to bid? They haven’t paid yet, if they supply a UK address at checkout then I don’t mind but I’m not sure how eBay allowed it unless they are not currently residing there or they have used a VPN? Anyone else had this happen? 2 days ago last reply yesterday at 8:00 PM

Discussion Offers not showing on pending offers page best offer For the past few days some new offers from shoppers are not visible in seller hub. This is affecting maybe 10% of offers I receive. I receive push notifications from the app, but the offers are not visible in seller hub overview or on the pending offers page. I also do not receive an email/message from eBay for the affected offers. Most offers are being received normally, I'm not sure why this is only happening in some cases. The affected offers are still shown on the item page, so the only way I can respond is by searching the listing title if I'm paying attention to push notifications. 3 weeks ago last reply yesterday at 6:36 PM
