What Past Clients have to Say:
What to expect from my Argentina consultation
Once you reserve, you’ll be given a link to Google Meet for the call.
This call will be private for you and/or your party and is uninterrupted time with Erin, the founder of solsalute.com and Argentina Travel Tips .
I’ve set consultations at 50 minutes as nearly every call has naturally wound down around at around that time, but if our call goes over – upwards to an hour – I would never cut a conversation short.
I will take notes throughout the call so you don’t have to and send a detailed email after the call with notes, recommendations, links and any relevant discounts.
You are free to use this time however you like and I have found that those who come prepared get the most out of their time. Prepared can mean a list of questions, hotels or tours you want me to provide feedback on, or a rough itinerary to work through.
Meeting with Erin was worth every penny and then some. We saved money on just explaining what the exchange rate is, best methods for getting around… Come to the call prepped with your questions, your travels dates & areas you want to see, and you will not be disappointed. She will answer each question honestly and the experience was like booking a call with your friend who lives in the country. Book her if you’re planning to make a visit to BA. She’s a book of knowledge on all things Argentina.
What do I need to do to prepare?
In the booking calendar, when reserving your call there is a place to provide information on your trip and I do my best to familiarize myself in advance but I am limited with time and cannot make promises to do any research prior to the call.
That said, if anything comes up during the call that I do not have the answer to, I will always research afterwards for you to ensure you get the best and most accurate information possible.
One call is usually enough for most itineraries. Clients planning on moving here or traveling for a month or more often return for a second call after working through recommendations from the initial consultation.
Private consultations are charged at a rate of $115.
50 minute private video call with Erin, founder of Sol Salute & Argentina travel expert.

Payment is required in advance and requires a credit card or PayPal.
Many clients claim making this investment in trip saved them money in the long term.
I help you learn how to get the best exchange rate in an ever changing complicated currency, book the best excursions, and save time planning.
We have travelled the world and honestly have never had a better experience in getting information and actual things that were relevant and met every expectation we had than with Sol Salute. Erin is passionate, knowledgeable and delivers. We just returned from a wonderful time in Antarctica and Buenos Aires and area. The information and your very good attitude to the country you love was most instrumental in having a great time in Buenos Aires and the country.
Select at time below to book your call, you will see times displayed in your time zone.

Foreign travelers are currently required to have travel medical insurance . While agents are still figuring out enforcement, they could deny you entry if you do not meet the requirement. Also, requirements aside, medical insurance is always a good idea when you travel.
SafetyWing’s Essential Plan meets all of the requirements Argentina is asking for (think hospital stays or antibiotics). It also covers lost luggage, travel delays and evacuations. Click here for more information to avoid future headaches.

☕ BUY ME A COFFEE | If you’ve enjoyed my blog and found it useful, you can buy me “virtual” coffee.
MY MAP | Buy my interactive map with 300+ pins to have access to the city as I see it. It is an invaluable resource. See more here about how it works.
AIRPORT TRANSFERS | Having a driver waiting for you is ideal for a stress free arrival, Cesar and his team here is the best option for a driver from Ezeiza or Aeroparque, they are my go-to airport ride!
TRAVEL INSURANCE | Always travel insured. Anything can happen anywhere and it is scarier and costlier in an unfamiliar country. SafetyWing’s Essential Plan covers unexpected travel and medical emergencies and even offers add-ons like electronics theft or adventure sports. It is the best if you’re coming on vacation. If you’re coming as a digital nomad or an extended stay, you need their Complete Nomad Plan which also covers routine check ups, maternity, mental healthcare and more. PHONE PLAN | These days, traveling with data is essential. Especially in Argentina where everything is managed on Instagram and WhatsApp. I recommend this E-SIM card . It’s hassle-free and affordable, for more read how to get an Argentina sim card.
ACCOMMODATION IN ARGENTINA | booking.com is the most common hotel site used in Argentina and it’s where you’ll find the most options.
RENTAL CARS | I love using Discover Cars , it is a great platform to compare different rates and providers and I find they have responsive customer service.
BUS TICKETS | Check Busbud for long distance bus routes and tickets.
VPN | If you’ll be using a public WiFi connection and want to secure your data, I highly recommend using a VPN, I personally use and have had a good experience with ExpressVPN . I also use it to access Hulu and American Netflix from Argentina.
FLIGHTS | Always check Google Flights and Skyscanner for flights to and within Argentina. Aerolineas Argentina is the local airline with the most routes. FlyBondi and Jetsmart are two budget airlines with dirt-cheap prices (but expect to pay for every add-on like luggage).
