In case you did not know details of it they are: The color photo was taken by Robert Capa while this B-17 group was in England before they moved to North Africa. It is of B-17 41-24361 of the 32nd BSquadron of the 301st Bombardment Group. This A/C flew its first mission to Muelte, France 10/02/1942. The Wabash Cannon Ball was piloted by Lt. Robert Blauw. The bombardier in the photo is Lt. Frederick Lopez. I access the site from a number of different platforms – computer, iPad, iPhone (damn, no wonder Apple is so rich!). This is no big deal, but I have contributed to the upkeep (money very well spent) but I keep getting the donate window which is somewhat annoying. I guess that you track IP addresses. If I make a donation from each platform will that shut-off the ad window? I do enjoy your site. If necessary I will make a donation from each platform and see if that works.
