Reviews of the top 5 airlines flying to Seattle Overall its fine, but I've been lowering my bar for what to expect over the years. What I look forward to most is the crew. Alaska's flight crews are the best. I compare every other airline I fly to yours. Ok, so now lets discuss the plane and amenities: One of the bathroom sinks was inoperable. The crew did the right thing by putting hand sanitizer there. On food - there really isn't any food on these flights unless you pre-buy it and I missed the window, so I ate some garbage in DFW's Terminal E. Let's face it - terminal food in most airports is just junk, so not your fault. The only snack we got on our flight was a bag of salty, cinnamon flavored pretzels. I ate mine, because I was hungry, but really felt like it was a waste of calories. Entertainment options aren't as good as they used to be. I guess Hollywood, Netflix and HBO just aren't creating content like they used to, or we watched everything during COVID and can't be satisfied anymore. I partially finished a number of different shows, ranging from stand up comedians, movies, tv series and foreign films trying to find something. In the end, I could see why nearly everyone around me was brain rotting on Instagram, so I zoned out listening to my favorite playlist and plinked away at email. I see you next month! No communication on fact flight was delayed. Sat in sweltering plane for 45 min without explanation. Sat on airplane without explanation again after landing.understand delays happen but lack of communication and concern for my lost time was disappointing Best flights I e been on. Need gluten free snacks I cancelled this flight over a week ago, due to being in the hospital! Yet when I finally recovered and got out of the hospital I saw no one ever cancelled it and I was fully charged??? I was assured by the phone rep weeks ago this had been cancelled!! This was the best flight I’ve ever been on- solely for the purpose that our pilot gave us a tour of the west coast. He didn’t need to do that but he did and it made the experience spectacular. Well done. Apparently you could not have food unless you ordered ahead. This was not obvious ahead of time. What we saw given to others on the plane also appeared too be quite meager. Seat didn’t recline at all- very uncomfortable after three hours In flight service flight attendants did wonderful job.Airlines could have done better with snacks, since it was early morning flight breakfast places where not open so people could not grab anything quick for breakfast.I hope they would keep that in mind. Be able to buy food while on the plane, not just in advance. Should be able to watch TV on entertainment screens on backs of chairs The plane was a rather tired 737-800, with old style small luggage bins. Poor air flow. USB charger in the infotainment system was not functioning. The flight was 2 hours late due to crew rest requirements (not their fault). On arrival in Seattle, waited on the tarmac for 30 minutes with very few updates from the crew. One of the restrooms didn’t work. The ones that did never got replenished. Flight attendant just sitting there on their phone. No notification that the bathroom was broken so long lines. Apathetic crew. I am in a wheelchair The gate agent knew exactly how to boarding A wheelchair first also the flight attendant knew exactly what she was doing Not really a “Delta” problem but worth mentioning: Boarding was a difficult process. TSA seemed understaffed and Pre-Check took longer than regular TSA. The supervisor was frazzled and yelled at travelers. Once through TSA, we had to put our carry-ons through another x-ray machine. Then queue up to board with both boarding pass and ID. Then, when we got to the stairs on the tarmac, we had to show our boarding pass again. Maybe this is just normal for Kona since the terminal is outdoors (but still a “secured” area). Checkin was good, fllight ws good. Onlly complaint is lack of foot on 6 hour flight from Seattle to Boston. Snacks were flimsy - chips and cookies. could have offered something more substantial for such a long flight. I know you can buy food in airport but for the price you pay for a ticket, they should step up for the passengers. Flight was delayed, we could have been notified earlier and in a consistent manner. App was not refreshing for another passenger to get the latest flight status. We could have stayed and waited at the hotel instead of waiting at the airport had we known the flight was going to delayed for more than 5 hours. The toilet is too tight, and needs to be cleaned more frequently (every hour). The entertainment screen froze, the touch screen not responding to touch. We were upgraded to comfort, it is more comfortable than regular economy seats. It was fine. 55 minute flight. No snacks or beverage service offered. Boarding went smoothly and my walker was waiting for me on the jet way. My flight was cencaled due with the bad weather on Sunday the crew was poorly mistaken my luggage supposed depart with my flight instead I didn’t have my luggage for almost 3 days the website is poorly respond to my complain until I have someone to do it my connection smooth their not even respon or email me even the have my luggage 8 hours late and the plane smelled like urine, that smell in the morning when your child wet the bed in the night. Everything was good except wifi and a leaking drink chiller. The floor was all wet and my bag was soaked. Did not notice until debarking. Have not heard back from Delta. Even though this was leg one of an international flight in first class, they denied access to their Sky Club - very disappointing! This was an auto-rebook due to being delayed from an earlier UA connecting flight. The boarding was fine, but they sat me in a middle seat when my original booking was a window seat. Overall, the flight was fine as it still got me to my final destination. The flight was delayed by a hour and I wish they had communicated it sooner. No issues on the plane, it did take a while for food to come. Smooth and easy boarding, comfortable for the entire 5 hour flight, and the seat back entertainment was great! I appreciated all the features, from location info and maps, movies, the ability to connect with Bluetooth headphones, and good selection of movies. Food was good, normal airline snacks (I didn’t purchase anything) it was so bad. I tried to board my flight from vancouver to saskatoon. And to my surprise they did not board me cause the flight was changed and no email was send to me. and on my boarding pass which i got from seattle says different flight. I did not knew anyone from Vancouver, air canada crew was rude, i asked for today flight but they were rude and i had early morning dental appointment in saskatoon. I was so much in pain and my whole day is wasted today. and i suffered alot. They did provide me hotel but they did not provide me any food. I am really really disappointed first time had so bad experience with air canada. I may think twice to book it again. If i can get any reply or any composition that would be great. Thanks leg space better than expected. two washrooms for one plane isn't enough. The seats on this flight were almost roomy enough to be the basic amount needed for human existence. I think my favorite part of this flight was it landed at an A gate, which was the most palatial part of Sea-Tac I've ever seen - a massive improvement from the S gates. Everything was fantastic. Modern plane. All the amenities! Although the paid snacks and meals are pure robbery. Like i understand airlines need to make money, but 11$ USD for an overnight oats with some nuts in it and barely any pieces of apple.... Highway robbery An hour and a half late is UNACCEPTABLE. The negative impact to our family is unconscionable. And for the price we were forced to pay... Our flight was delayed many times throughout the day. The final delay was about 8 hours. I spent time in line to speak to someone at their understaffed desk, and also spent time waiting online and then chatting with a service rep. None of the United employees were any help at all. I desperately wanted to go get rest and possibly re-book my trip but I was denied any compensation or voucher for a hotel. I was repeatedly told it was not United's fault and therefore they had no compensation to offer. Overall, a cold and callous experience. Flight crew and pilots did great. Flight way delayed due to a part needing replacement. Based on what the pilot indicated- the maintenance crew could’ve resolved this more efficiently than replacing whole part- and taken less time Plane was super cold. No entertainment unless you were with mileage program Getting off the plane was super slow Beverage service was not good. Also just one service in 5 hr 30 min flight. No ask fir water ir anything beside one time beverage service. Flight was delayed because of a bird strike. They had another plane available within 45 minutes. It was a code share with Alaska - would have been great if I actually made it on the plane, claimed I didn’t have a ticket or a seat even thought I was checked in. The main problem was delay. The plane was at the gate early and bags were loaded. However, there was no crew for the flight. They were inbound from LGA and had to land and make their way to our gate. It took more than 40 minutes. Then, once the crew arrived and boarded, one of the crew members had to deplane and then a replacement crew member had to be found. It took another 40 minutes or so to get the final crew member. In all, we took off about 2 hours later than our scheduled departure time. Once in the air, the flight was great. Smooth most of the way. The crew was professional and efficient. i suspect i caught flu on this flight as i could hear someone coughing a few rows back and ended up with flu a few days later. also tiresome to have to watch movies on my device by holding up smartphone screen, would have liked to have in seat display. I had trouble finding a boarding pass because I had an hour between Flights and American did not see my flight I believe because I was ticketed through KAYAK. I did not have enough time to go to the desk before boarding so I went to the desk and told them while I was boarding and they had a boarding pass for me within three minutes. Nice. I paid extra to have more legroom and it is definitely worth it for a six hour flight. I would’ve paid for a decent dinner, but they didn’t offer anything but a snack box —not good for six hours. Terrible flight seats where really uncomfortable I had body aches for 2 days and flight was delays almost two hours Very smooth for one of the busiest travel days of the year and the crew was great. Customer service prior to boarding is horrible Communication regarding boarding gates is released at the last minute and the gates are very distant from Customs. Very disappointing Remind customers of the need to have passport or new ID for boarding. Frontier.. nickel and dime add-ons. Flight late, on time, late again, last minute gate change, arrival gate required a shuttle to the terminal. They sure keep you guessing.. if you like a little chaos and airport anxiety, this is the airline for you! Horrible. I would never fly Frontier again. The booking process is tricky at best, but fraudulent in my opinion. Frontier customer service did nothing to rectify my purchase -- I ended up paying more than double what I could have gotten from other airlines and nearly triple what I thought I was buying from Frontier. Their booking practices are unfair to the consumer. I’m not gonna fly Frontier Airlines because booking is not an option. No water or food is for high price, not equipped for health emergency incompetent crew for emergency services. Cheap airline shows it is cheaper in all service categories. Boarding is the best of all airlines! The seats were extremely hard and uncomfortable, even for a budget airline. Boarding was very well executed. Got my bag right away. There was nothing to like, flight delayed had to move to different departure areas, disorganized to say the leasr I didn't get to do this flight l, hard to review Not good 😐 Over priced baggage fees Small hard seats No wifi or entertainment options 😕 The whole experience was bad. Didn't know no complimentary drinks or snacks. $4.39 for a soda is ridiculous even a bottle water. A carry on was $74 just crazy. I don't think I will take this airline ever again.
